Do I Need a Particular Issue to Benefit from Counselling?
No, counselling can help if you feel life could be better and you are not living life to its full potential or just feeling stuck, to help you move forward, maybe Life Coaching could be an option we could discuss.

How Do I Start Counselling?
The first step is to Phone for a no obligation chat and if you are happy to proceed, we can book an initial consultation. The initial Consultation will give you the opportunity to see if counselling is right for you, without any further obligation for you to continue.

I have appointments Monday to Friday 9am to 6.00pm
WEEKEND AND EVENING APPOINTMENTS ALSO AVAILABLE

What Can I Expect in A Counselling Session?
At the Initial Assessment Consultation, I will take a brief holistic history of what is going on for you physically and psychologically and what you wish to achieve from Therapy and how best we can achieve this together. There is no typical counselling session, as we are all unique. It is a time for you, to discuss what you wish, according to your particular needs.

How long is a Counselling Session?
All sessions of counselling are 50 minutes.

How Long Will I Be Attending Counselling?
The standard format is weekly, but this can be negotiated at your first consultation, normally I offer six sessions with a review after that. Sometimes just one or two sessions are required, it is up to you, as we are all unique.

Will My Counselling Sessions Be Confidential?
Yes, Counselling sessions are confidential, I abide by the BACP code of ethics as regards confidentiality and this will be explained to you at your first consultation.

How Much Are Counselling Sessions?
The Cost is from £50.
Payment will be taken prior to your session.
Some concessions are available for low income and trainee counsellors.

What About Missed or Cancelled Appointments?
Twenty four hours’ notice required.

Is There Disability Access?
Yes, all my offices have disability access.

What about Parking and Travel?
All my premises have adequate parking and are near to local train, bus routes and motorways.
